Initial scans offered hope of a short layoff, but a specialist’s assessment confirmed the issue is more serious than first thought.

“With all the injuries we’ve had this season, I feel sorry for all of them — and now for Erling,” Pep Guardiola told BBC Sport. “I wish him a quick and smooth recovery.”

How Many Games Will Haaland Miss?

City have confirmed Haaland will be sidelined for most of April, ruling him out of:
