Latest Decision: Manchester City will not become a feeder team for Barcelona

Barcelona’s head coach, Xavi, said several hours ago that everything had been agreed upon for Joao Cancelo’s transfer, but at the last moment, Manchester City decided not to loan him to Barcelona.

As we already know, Barcelona wants to sign practically all of our players—Bernardo Silva, Ilkay Gundogan, Aymeric Laporte. However, they lack the funds and have not paid a significant portion of Ferran’s transfer fee.

Manchester City fans were concerned that we could become a “feeder” team for Barcelona. The relationship between Pep and Xavi, Joan Laporta, and other members of Blaugrana is great, but City should prioritize its own interests.

On the contrary, it may even be better to sell our players outside of the Premier League. Arsenal bought Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus, and with these players’ contributions, Arsenal nearly reached the top.

Manchester City demand at least 70 million for Bernardo Silva, while Gundogan could leave us for free at the end of the season. It is already known that Laporte is leaving, and Guardiola wants to replace him with Josko Gvardiol.

Leicester is demanding 40 million for Maddison, while Rice’s cost exceeds 60 million.

Liverpool are already in advanced talks with Alexis Mac Allister, but we will stay on board in any case.

Neymar, Mason Mount, Mateo Kovačić, and other players have also been linked with Manchester City, but it would be prudent to wait until after the Champions League final before making any decisions or announcements.
