Manchester City are considering fully focusing on the Argentinian market and pursuing another transfer after completing the deal for Claudio Echeverri.

The 21-year-old defensive midfielder, Ezequiel Fernández, has recently come onto City’s radar. Ezequiel currently plays for Boca Juniors, and according to Transfermarkt, his transfer value is €8.00 million. However, Boca seeks to insert a €20.00 million release clause in his contract.

In the upcoming summer transfer window, the 19-year-old Brazilian, Savio, is expected to be City’s first signing. The City Football Group is contemplating a player exchange, with Savio bringing his talents to Manchester, and Fernández potentially joining Girona on loan.

If Fernández proves his abilities and qualities in Girona, City plan to take him back to the squad. City have been extremely successful in the South American market, and Julian Alvarez is an eminent example of it.

We acquired Julian for only €21.40 million, a player who has practically mastered football at the age of 23. Alvarez’s market value now exceeds at least €100 million.

Claudio Echeverri and Maximo Perrone could follow in his footsteps. Echeverri, much like Alvarez, has been left on loan at River Plate. The 21-year-old Perrone is spending valuable time at Las Palmas.

A prominent leader of the Argentina under-23 team, Ezequiel has been regarded as one of the brightest talents in South America. Fernandez has drawn comparisons to the World Cup champion Enzo Fernandez. Moreover, another world champion and Liverpool midfielder, Alexis Mac Allister, counseled Brighton to sign him.

The City Football Group was founded in 2013, eleven years ago, with Manchester City as its flagship football club. The most successful teams eventually join City, although Girona currently holds second place in La Liga, surpassing Barcelona and other Spanish giants.

As of today, Manchester City (England) New York City FC (USA), Melbourne City (Australia), , Yokohama F Marinos (Japan), Montevideo City Torque (Uruguay), Girona (Spain), Sichuan Jiuniu (China), Mumbai City (India) are members of City Football Group.
