Manchester City targets

Manchester City had a very quiet winter transfer window, as we only signed Claudio Echeverri from River Plate and left him in Argentina on loan.

So, City are going to focus fully on the summer transfer window and make at least one superb transfer. Our main targets are Jamal Musiala, Joshua Kimmich (both from Bayern Munich), Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli.

The 20-year-old Jamal Musiala and the 22-year-old Khvitcha Kvaratskhelia are seen as the potential successors to Kevin De Bruyne. Unfortunately for England, Jamal chose Germany over England at the international level, but he still has some friends from England. Jamal has made 15 appearances this season and scored 5 goals.

The Georgian talent, Kvaradona, has a salary of only 1.2 million euros. Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis does not seem to be making any efforts to reach a productive agreement with him. The Georgian gem is demanding 7 million euros, which is not a significant amount for us.

The transfers for these players could cost between 100 million and 120 million euros. However, considering their potential, it could be a promising and well-invested sum of money.

Kvaradona could be the ‘new George Kinkladze‘ for us.

The 28-year-old Joshua Kimmich was Pep Guardiola’s favorite player at Bayern, and Pep tried to persuade him several times to bring his talents to Manchester, but with no success.

Meanwhile, Kimmich is looking for new challenges, and his contract is set to expire in June 2025; we have the highest odds of signing him. What’s more interesting, Joshua is a versatile footballer and can play as a center-midfielder and right-back.

Under Xabi Alonso’s coaching, Florian Wirtz has significantly enhanced his skills, emerging as one of the Bundesliga’s top players. He plays a crucial role in Leverkusen’s success, and after 20 games, Bayer is 2 points ahead of Bayern Munich.

Let’s observe the developments in the next six months; however, securing at least one out of the four players would be a significant positive.
